Daily Duties at American Claims Management :
• Coordinated work for the Bodily Injury and Property Damage Units for California, Arizona, Washington, Oregon. • Managed the Subrogation Unit and exceeded the company revenue goal by approximately $200,000. • Supervised & handled all personnel issues for 1 manager, 1 supervisor, 1 team-leader, 14 examiners, and 2 claims assistants. • Provided direction to all subordinates and employees on a daily basis. • Worked closely with subordinates to ensure all work was completed in accordance with the company policies and applicable laws. • Reviewed claim files above the supervisor and team-leaders’ authority. • Regularly met with senior staff to review high-exposure claim files. • Set performance expectations for claims personnel within BI & PD units. • Assisted in coordinating files for DOI and carrier audits. • Provided reports to the Vice President of Claims. • Reviewed all unit large loss reports prior to being sent to the carrier for approval.
