Promoted to charge nurse/assistant manager of 18 bed acute care Hospice Inpatient Unit +Triaged incoming phone calls, evaluated patient care needs, prioritized treatment and maintained patient flow. + Actively participated in unit-based Quality Assurance Program + Collaborated with insurances, obtaining documentation needed for approved coverage. + Provided guidance to staff regarding policy and procedure compliance + Facilitated IDG meetings and complex patient/family discussions + Reviewed documentation for personalized care plan compliance + Responsible for operation of facility on scheduled weekends + Staff coverage/scheduling
