Daily Duties at Government (Contractor):
Operational View Enterprise Architect/Information Assurance Security Officer • Architectures were built by getting with the subject matter experts from the different Capability Managers and analyzing documents such as Initial Capability Documents, Capability Production Documents, Capability Development Documents, field manuals, and training manuals. Prepared Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) 2.02, Operational View architecture in support of Paladin’s Family of Vehicle’s, LandWarNet Initial Capabilities Document. Architecture included: Graphical display of the systems/mission, Operational Node Connectivity, Information Exchange Requirement spreadsheet, High Level Relationship Diagram High Level Activity Model. These models were built in the Structured Analysis tool. In addition to OVs, also built the Overview and Summary, Integrated Dictionary, Capability’s Vision, and Capability to Organizational Development Mapping for the LandWarNet Initial Capability Document. All DoDAF architecture was built in line to support the Joint Capability Integration Development System (JCIDS) process. • Configured computers to bring onto the network, applied Hotfixes to computers, and submitted Remedy tickets to get support. • Received Certificate of Appreciation from the Architecture Integration and Management Directorate for the successful delivery of over 10 Software Blocking Mission threads. Systems Architect • Converted the Systems Views of the Army Network Operations Reference Architecture from the Systems Architecture tool format into Magic Draw for headquarters. Developed the Integrated Architecture Data Standards for the Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle. This product was approved for entry into the architecture repository. Built System of System Overview Diagram to satisfy the client’s request for a single chart that summarized the networks connecting Brigade Combat Teams and Joint assets that operate in an area of responsibility.
