Daily Duties at Novo Construction:
• Managed specialty construction projects in excess of $10M. Executed take-offs, estimated project costs and prepared proposals. Conducted site visits to confirm progress and adherence to project design. Prepared, reviewed and processed submittals, change orders and RFI’s. • Reviewed shop drawings for accuracy and conformance to scope and assisted with subcontractor trade coordination. Provided onsite supervision and coordination between client, engineering/project management team, architect and subcontractors. Performed construction surveys and inspections to ensure that work was carried out in accordance with plans and specifications. • Utilized project management principles and analytical problem-solving skills to evaluate work area layouts and operating plans with the intent to optimize efficiency, quality, comfort and safety. Handled site surveys, conceptualized designs, calculations and final construction drawings issued to field personnel. Coordinated with project managers and clients to ensure that scope of work and specifications were incorporated.
