Daily Duties at Sears Holdings.Com / Kmart:
I was initially hired as a floater pharmacist whose responsibility it was to cover shifts for emergency situations as well as in critical areas where there was a shortage of pharmacists. This involved the dispensing of prescriptions, monitoring and training new pharmacy staff, creating schedules for the 21 pharmacists in 10 stores I was responsible . My 10 stores were very scattered and were from central Maine, throughout New Hampshire , and down to the southern portion of Massachusetts. After 9 months i was promoted to pharmacy manager. This included the operation portions of each store such as helping the different pharmacy managers work through monthly profit and loss statements maximizing staff schedules, promote and support any company backed promotions, supervising annual and biennial drug inventories for all drugs and controlled substances in the pharmacy. After 3 months I was promoted to Pharmacy District Manager, This allowed me to participate in the planning and development of the district retail budgets, including sales, script growth, margin, labor and expenses and overall P&L results monthly to ensure operating income and EBITDA were achieved
