Daily Duties at Zt Systems:

 Managed and coordinated the process of designing and delivering server solutions to Amazon Web Service (AWS). Managed customer and vendor relationships to deliver evaluation systems while functioning as a subject matter expert.  Validated the performance and efficiency requirements of custom designed evaluation servers utilizing Bash and Perl scripts with assorted Linux native utilities. - Created server level Bill of Materials (BOM) for Agile. - Customized BIOS images to meet system specifications and created deliverable BIOS/BMC/FRU tool packages. - Owned and executed: (1) Hard drive validation, including HDDs and SSDs, (2) System stress tests, designed to quantify power consumption, comparing different vendors of SSDs and HDDs, (3) SPEC CPU testing with different state settings, including C state and P state and (4) NIC, HBA, BIOS and BMC Firmware testing. - Monitored and responded to specification updates via Agile by installing and configuring updated hardware. - Identified and reproduced server failures, using the results to suggest customized testing procedures for the factory automation systems.  Minimized power consumption of evaluation servers to increase rack density through fan optimization, CPU down-clocking and the selection of CPUs with the optimal number of cores.  Redesigned and implemented new Test Rack Inspection (TRI) procedures, which led to a significantly higher pass-rate of TRIs. Edited and delivered all TRI documentation to the client.
