Daily Duties at Nyc Housing Preservation And Development:
Oversee 6 program units in areas of emergency housing and housing relocation, emergency response and disaster recovery, home ownership, property management and maintenance, urban redevelopment project management, and tenant support services. Develop and implement homeless housing policies for city-financed and/or tax-credit housing projects. Manage subsidized rental coordination including NYCHA, and Section 8, MRT, and Advantage subsidy programs. Overhaul Agency’s shelter system through local legislation, technological upgrades, and staff realignment. Redesign homeownership program. Manage divisional budget of $36M and supervise staff of 120.
