Daily Duties at District Of Columbia Public Schools:
Directed operations and established, maintained, and communicated an effective learning climate in a school with 62 staff members and 500 students. Developed policies, procedures and structures for students in accordance with approved curricula and school’s mission. Developed and implemented school turn around model for an under performing school. Aligned the school’s performance goals to reflect the districts performance policy, strategic plan, goals and outcomes. Conducted annual programmatic assessment of total school performance to efficiently allocate resources/funding and refine school-improvement process. Developed a school wide reading and writing across the curriculum initiative. Implemented and managed a $2.3M budget and administered school-wide activities that included before and after school instructional plans that obtained 20% growth in math and reading scores
