Daily Duties at Jacobs Technology:
QUALITY ASSURANCE: Served as key technical advisor for evaluating proposed quality management system. Gathered, reviewed, and provided assessment of quality assurance progress of contractors in meeting program objectives for the D-ILS and D-RAPCON programs. Accountable for directing, developing and implementing quality assurance policies that support contract surveillance management. In the C3I Infrastructure Division, planned, developed, organized, evaluated, coordinated and improved comprehensive quality assurance programs for large-scale service contracts for state-of-the-art network technology; frequent changes in scope and technical requirements was needed. Responsible for overseeing contractor to ensure Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) Quality Assurance (AFMCI 63-501) specification is being followed correctly. CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT: Controlled and managed technical and contract baselines for the D-ILS and D-RAPCON contracts. This included the System Requirement Documents (SRD), Software Requirements Specification (SRS), System Subsystem Specifications (SSS), Software Product Specifications (SPS), Interface Control Document (ICD), Statement of Work (SOW), and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL). Support of the program office included, the management and flow of Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) through design phases, and maintenance and storage in program’s Configuration Management ECR database. Also responsible for Functional Configuration Audit/Physical Configuration Audit (FCA/PCAs), Configuration Control, Configuration Identification, and Configuration Status Accounting reports. Conducted regular Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings to track and control changes to the requirements. Interfaced with Acquisition Project Managers and Engineering staff to incorporate Configuration Management activities. DATA MANAGEMENT: Served as key technical advisor to track and control CDRL documentation. Interfaced with Acquisition Project Managers and Engineering staff to incorporate technical data item requirements into the CDRL. Developed and trained employees on the CDRL review process. Set priorities and assigned tasks when needed. Guided employees to resolve difficult technical documentation issues and problems. Developed and utilized SharePoint libraries. Monitored and evaluated performance; implemented and recommended corrective actions.
