Daily Duties at Bay Valley Foods:

Supported a cross-functional team - operation, sanitation, and quality associates, in the area of food quality and safety. Supervised all aspects of quality technicians’ work including training, mentorship, problem solving, and reporting. Ensured manufactured products compliant with customer and FDA (Federal Drug Administration) standards. Validated, implemented, and enforced internal quality Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and Food Safety programs, such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) plans. Assisted management with preparations for the annual Safety Food Quality (SQF) certification, including developing, implementing, and collecting documentation.
