Assistant Director 2009 - 2013 Assistant Director of Hospice of the Central Coast since 2009, experience includes: * Gathering & analyzing data and implementing performance improvement plans * Preparing & managing budgets * Compiling high quality proposal documents * Conducting annual Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) projects and root cause analysis in collaboration with the Quality Management department *Developing & implementing programs and services to reflect the changing needs of our community, consistent with Community Hospital's mission and vision * Assembling project assumptions * Creating annual department and program budgets * Building relationships with local foundations and Community Hospital's own Development office * Writing grant proposals for new program development * Tracking & reporting community benefits of the programs, consistent with funder requirements * Developing relationships in the community to enhance new program awareness and participation Support Service Supervisor 2006 - 2009 As the support services supervisor, responsibilities included: * Hiring, orientating & directing staff * Supporting staff in securing sufficient volunteers to work with patients and their families * Working with staff, patients and families assessing needs to be met through volunteer services * Working closely with foundations, private donors and Community Hospital’s own Development office to secure funding to continue enhancement of Support Services. Patient Care Volunteer Coordinator 2003 – 2006 During my time in this role, major accomplishments include: * Redesigning the volunteer training curriculum to successfully reduce cost and improve efficiency * Recruiting & training sufficient volunteers to meet the needs of hospice patients and families * Establishing the complementary therapies program through recruiting specialized volunteers and building relationships with the foundation and private donors for funding.
