Daily Duties at Brookwood Girls Home:
Provide mental health services to adolescents with mental health and behavioral issues, specializing in serving those within the foster care and DJJ systems. Responsible for providing group counseling for residents focused on, but not limited to, behavioral issues, family dynamics, healthy boundaries, and decision making and coping skills, relationship building, and coping skills. Daily monitoring and treatment of clients in a therapeutic group home for victimized adolescents with mental health and behavioral issues. Provided individual crisis counseling as needed to assist clients with processing emotional trauma and mental health concerns. Assisted residents with learning independent living skills.
