Daily Duties at Oreck Corporation:
• Perform closing entries for a subsidiary of Oreck Corporation • Reconcile general ledger accounts • Prepare closing monthly journal entries with supporting schedules and worksheets for revenues and expenses • Perform audit of store leases to correspond to the Lease Maintenance Database to maintain correct payments to 100 landlords of retail locations nationwide • Investigate discrepancies in payments made versus payments according to lease terms • Specifically responsible for cash assets and current liabilities • Calculate commissions based on sales and selling expenses for several directors and managers • Completed special projects assigned by supervisor or the controller
