Learned to provide safe, timely surgical and medical abortions / elective terminations for first trimester pregnancies. Performed transvaginal ultrasounds and surgical abortions for 30 patients in supportive, confidential, and compassionate ways. Provided STD testing and contraceptive options education and counseling for all patients regardless of their ability to pay. Developed an assay to test function of and assure accuracy of medical equipment.
