Daily Duties at Puget Sound Energy:
Managed a team of 25 people including recruiting, and performance management. Managed a budget of approximately $2.5 million in OpEx and $3 million in CapEx projects. Responsible for Information Security, NERC CIP Compliance and records management. Information Security responsibilities included interfacing with audit on all IT audits including SOX. Defined security architecture, security policies, managed SAP security and access management. Managed security risk assessments, application security assessments including vulnerability assessments and static and dynamic code reviews. Responsible for vendor security assessments and contract negotiations. Responsible for IT's NERC CIP obligations and oversaw annual self-certification process. Interfaced with WUTC cybersecurity team advising them on PSE's security strategy and addressing any ongoing questions and concerns. Worked with our Federal Legislative team to review and advise on PSE's position regarding upcoming legislation.
