High Level Responsibilities at the NYC Corporate Headquarters: 1. For the entirety of the mainframe operations. This includes technology, operations, and support. 2. For the main legacy Cobol business application plus third party products and services. 3. For leading an IS&T team in outsourcing the mainframe operations systems support to Wipro. 4. Corporate acquisition integration. 5. Leading the legacy and business applications team in the opening of a new remote shared services center. 6. Consolidating four additional sets of business units acquired in years leading up to the new shared services center. Specific Experiences Delivered: Coordinated the contact and interview protocols in generating an RFP for mainframe outsourcing. Measured RFP responses and verified claims and references. Managed expectations related to pace of project and risk mitigation related to third party participants. Drafted, managed and tweaked the project schedule related to all steps in process. Remediated two risk mitigation events. Confirmed that all business practices were transferred to the new operational team. Consulted with new systems operations management to set desired reporting metrics and expectations. Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, implementing and monitoring adherence to existing policy, process, procedures, standards. Understanding of the key financial drivers and dynamics of the business and led a business/systems seminar in the development of new policy, process, procedures, standards and security. Demonstrated empathy and support of majority new users in implementing new operations. Executed corporate relationship management duties with multiple outsource and financial institutions. Led multiple project teams through all phases and standard project life cycle protocols. Developed key portions of the new application and distributed other tasks to team members. Proactively negotiated scope changes and change orders with end user community. Negotiated technical modifications with a financial institution. Closely coordinated with product managers in other areas of our business as required. Proactively developed thoughtful error reconciliation tools for end users. Researched and developed strategy documents for executive management. Built a project plan and managed the work breakdown structures (WBS). Assigned WBS to my team. Built a proof of concept and presented corresponding multi-stage project plan key user representatives and systems management for review and approval.
