Daily Duties at Icf International:
Consulting—explored and explained creative options, including user experience and user interface for mobile, tablet, and desktop, brainstormed marketing ideas, developed concepts, communicated project timelines, and resolved time and budget obstacles. Management—gave cost estimates, determined project objectives, delegated design tasks, supervised designers, oversaw project implementation adhering to strict budgets, and conducted performance reviews. Branding—developed or reinvented brands and branding guidelines for internal communications as well as external clients in health and human services, energy, environment, climate, and international development. Hands-on Design—developed client and corporate collateral, proposal layout and graphics, creative sample sheets, print publications, web sites, digital marketing tools, interactive graphics, multi-media training toolkits, Flash movies, brochures, guides, reports, training manuals, and marketing tools. Production Q/A— ensured pre-production quality of graphics team members’ designs (up to 14 full- and part-time designers) on a daily basis, coordinated project objectives and activities with internal IT and print production plus vendors to deliver quality products.
