Daily Duties at Hitachi:
Responsible for sales for 36 eastern states and division/branch operation. * Sales increase first year of 22% by elimination old and signing new distributors. * Instituted new inside sales program that lead to increase of order entry department by 31% * Developed new tracking system for quotations to customers increasing closing ration by 19%. * Analyze current inventory levels and product mix, develop and maintain relationships with suppliers located in Japan, Taiwan and China while improving inventory turns from .7 to 1.9 per year. * P & L review and responsibility for branch and 36 eastern states. * Annual new sales and expense budget preparation and presentation to the board of directors. * Reduced expense by 14% first six months. *Developed team attitude within inside sales and warehouse employees. * Reduce shipping errors by 18% by holding weekly training meetings and adding incentive program. * Reorganize warehouse and order picking system to accomplish reduction in shipping errors. * Added safety program and equipment reducing work related accidents by 80%.
