Daily Duties at Hitachi:
Responsible for all sales in USA, by improving distribution channels with existing and new distributors which produced an annual sales increase of 19%. Introduce new and innovative products to our distributors and the industry, with new product sales compromising 5.5% of total sales in the first year. Visited manufacturing partners in Japan, Taiwan and China on an annual basis to maintain relationship, negotiate pricing levels based on foreign currencies, develop new products and investigate new shipping methods for a reduction of $450 per container received. (10 containers a month or a savings of $4500/mo. by changing shipping lines) Investigate manufacturing possibilities in USA. Organized and held annual sales meeting/review with our independent rep network. * Instituted sales incentive program for independent rep companies which resulted in a 9% additional growth for new sales that year. Traveled entire USA to develop new and maintain current distribution customer base. Monthly review of P & L, expenses and inventory purchases as well as inventory management.
