Daily Duties at Areva Transnuclear Inc.:
Currently managing multiple high visibility projects for Areva Transnuclear (TN). Projects under my management include; The Next Generation NUHOMS (dry fuel storage) product line development. This is a very complex R&D Project that is key to the long term success of the TN back end business line. All TN/AFS Department of Energy (DOE) Contracts. Current contract scopes of work include; analysis, design, and fabrication of a full scale mockup to determine the effects of high burn up used nuclear fuels (UNF) and the development of a TN product line for nationwide consolidated interim storage of UNF. I am responsible for scope, schedule, cost, quality, resource management, and integration of these product lines into the existing Areva Transnuclear Back End Business line. A key aspect to the management of these projects is dealing with companies both nationally and internationally.
