Daily Duties at Sam's Club :

Held Overnight, Hardlines, Operations, Member Service, and Fresh Assistant Manager position. Managed facility operations (personnel, front end, fresh areas, sales floor, accounting, receiving, membership and refunds, professional services, tire and battery). Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key associates, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives, building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning. Drive sales in assigned areas by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, including accurate and competitive pricing, inventory levels, budgeting and forcasting and assessing economic trends and community needs. Drive in club experience by encouraging associates to identify and communicate ideas that will improve the products and services provided to local members, teach associates how to develop and implement new ways to provide a convenient, safe, and pleasant shopping experience for Members. Challenge associates to identify and apply methods for resolving Member complaints and assist them with addressing difficult or complex issues. Identify, review, and applies policies and procedures to make informed judgements. Adapt to competing demands and shift priorities. Update knowledge and skills to handle new complexities, challenges, and responsibilities. Help associates adjust to and develop the capabilities needed to implement organizational change initiatives. Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training, mentoring; assigning duties, providing recognition, and ensuring diversity awareness. Ensure proper personnel procedures are followed for selection and recruiting, record retention, and training as required by Company policy and local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
