Daily Duties at Momentum Microsystems, In:
Maintain accurate records in order to reflect the financial condition of the corporation’s cash management and reconciliations. Provide all financial reporting to management including Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss statements. Responsible for the daily accounting activities required to maintain the general ledger, reconciliations, bank account statement reconciliations, check runs, accounts receivable transactions, fixed asset activity, payroll, accounts payable transactions, debt activity, recording of revenue and expenses, etc. Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year- end close. Prepare and process quarterly reports for sales taxes, E-waste Fee and Property Business Tax. Maintains organized set of detailed records and files to document financial transactions. Confirms financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; evaluate financial data; prepare special reports; accounting policies and procedures and internal controls. Review general ledger. Assist with the external audit process. Other projects as needed. Accomplishes accounting human resource objectives by orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; enforcing policies and procedures. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
