Daily Duties at Island Care Pharmacy:
SPECIALIZED IN HIV,HCV, AND ONCOLOGY. ADVISED ONCOLOGISTS AND CHEMOTHERAPY CERTIFIED RN'S IN PROPER PRESCRIBING AND USE OF ADMINISTERING CHEMOTHERAPY. Full time responsibiltity for all aspects of medication therapy including review of all medication orders and prescriptions to ascertain that they are legibly written. conformed to Specialty pharmacy policies for content and are appropriate for the patients being prescribed, including documentation of allergies, adverse drug reactions and clinical interventions. Supervision of non-licensed staff performing approved medication related tasks.
