Daily Duties at Mcg Architecture:

As Director of Information Systems • Responsible for cost analysis and justification for all hardware and software acquisitions • Team Leader for I.T. related human resources across 8 geographically dispersed office locations • Instrumental in reigning in corporate I.T. expenses while maintaining and improving functionality • Designed and conducted hardware and software utilization studies • Developed hardware standardization for Servers, Workstations and Infrastructure hardware • Planned and executed hardware and software upgrade scenarios • Instituted complete review and overhaul of Corporate Helpdesk functionality • Task assignment and prioritization to those under my supervision • Primary point of contact for all software and hardware vendors • Corporate Website – Design, Implementation, Functionality utilizing Adobe Dreamweaver and Flash • Redesign of WAN including implementation of dramatic bandwidth increase and cost reduction • Relocation of corporate network infrastructure and remote office locations • Developed software implementation scenarios • Researched, acquired, and implemented ERP system throughout the enterprise o System hardware upgrade to Microsoft SQL Server 2008, data migration o Developed security parameters o Designed implementation scenario, trained users As Network Manager • Design and Implementation of Corporate Wide Area Network o Negotiate with hardware, software vendors and infrastructure providers o Implemented the redesign and configuration of eight remote office Local Area Networks • Implementation of Enterprise wide Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware Systems • Implementation of Barracuda Spam Firewall system • Implementation of Microsoft System Management Server • Reconfiguration of Corporate Accounting system, upgrade to Microsoft SQL Server • Assisted Senior Management Team with downsizing of corporation • Implementation of all AutoDesk software upgrades and associated hardware requirements • Development of off-line file archiving system • Y2k systems analysis
