Daily Duties at Alcatel Lucent:
India:- •Start up of BSNL (private GSM network) in India Phase 1 (Pune, Ahmadabad, Bhopal) •Responsible for the complete commissioning process for 20 BSC sites that’s managing the teams of (BTS commissioning, radio planning and transmission in phase 1,2) as well as training local engineers for BTS & Microwave commissioning. •Technical supporting for finalizing the project scope of work, technical specifications and layout designs, handling material request and subcontractors management. Supervision of Swap sites after all acceptances is done for the BSCs. Egypt:- •Upgraded to Technical support Engineer. Working as a technical support with Egypt’s operator (Mobinil). •Attended training on SUN Microsystems equipment, MFS & OMC-R. •Good experience in UNIX and excellent experience in BSS (Microwave, BTS, BSC) troubleshooting. Srilanka:- •MLU session performed on 13 BSC in for 2 weeks. •Support for commissioning team in 1 TC & 3 BSC. NIGER:- •BSC Troubleshooting in CELTEL Niger, and routing the BSC to MSC via Satellite connection Nigeria:- •Applying Software Migration B7.2/B8 on OMCs – MFSs – BSCs •Coordinate Creation, Configuration and Integration of BSCs, BTS and MFS in the Networks. •Coordination Implementation of GPRS Configuration on all BSCs in the Network. •Supervise Creation and Configuration of all broadcast in the network. •Troubleshoot and resolve BSS Hardware/Software related problems. •Troubleshoot and resolve MFS Hardware/Software related problems. •Supervise execution of BSS and MFS preventive Maintenance tasks. •Supervise execution of BSS and MFS Work orders related to Network parameters modifications ( frequency plan modification , cells splitting, HO relations definition , cell upgrade/downgrade, etc) •Perform Administration task on OMCR SERVERS (configuration, load sharing, backup, etc). •Assist Field Service Engineers during Maintenance of BSCs, BTS, TC. •Preventive Maintenance and troubleshooting of all MFS in the Network. •Coordinate BSS and MFS performance reports generation and analysis processes
