Daily Duties at Aker Kvaerner:
I reported directly to the senior manager and provided independent verification of the company's safety, quality practices over all functional areas that employed 180 employees. I supported the customer engagement with business communications, business development, conflict resolution, contract management, and back office automation. I directly supervised one clerk, one accountant, and two inspectors. I liaised with the COTR supervisor to resolve contract compliance issues and escalated those to the senior manager when needed. I liaised with the resident commands and base residents whenever there was quality or safety issue. I helped the senior manager develop the organization from a rag-tag mob to a professional, well groomed and well mannered team committed to quality, safety, and the protection of their coworkers.
