Daily Duties at Mohegan Sun:
Responsible for developing and executing advertising campaign for property’s Grand Opening in July 2008 and new Table Games launch in July 2010. Assisted Vice President of Marketing and CEO with the development and implementation of short and long term strategic marketing plans involving Advertising, Casino Promotions, Special Events and Direct Mail. Developed and executed annual marketing plan and budget that helped maintain and increase a strong local market along with cultivating outer markets. Coordinated and implemented strategic alliances and corporate sponsorships with local business partners that helped create greater brand awareness and community goodwill. Involved with the recommendation process for charitable contributions, sponsorships, vendor selection and property initiatives. Worked closely with Vice President of Marketing and CEO to maximize effectiveness of all marketing activities. Developed, recommended and implemented new sponsorships, special events and casino promotions while improving on existing activities. Managed efforts with both internal departments and external agencies to develop messaging and tactics for reaching key target audiences utilizing print, radio, television, direct mail, digital, billboard and property collateral.
