Daily Duties at Mallory Alexander:
With dual reporting to the Company’s COO, and VP Global Transportation, was responsible for the development and management of ocean transportation service contracts and rates associated with the movement of over 35,000 twenty-foot equivalent units annually with an annual freight spend of over $30 Million. Tactical achievements included the development of operating procedures for a staff of four Pricing Analysts, the introduction of a new nationwide rate management system, and the redesign of the Company’s traditional pricing strategies to include the development of new relationships with key 3rd party providers to move significant volumes of Transpacific traffic in a manner which achieved savings of over $700,000 annually. Fostered and expanded the Company’s relationships with key service partners around the world.
