Daily Duties at Hazen And Sawyer P.C:

A member of the Project Management team for Design Services During Construction of the largest Ultraviolet Light Disinfection Facility in the world, constructed for New York City’s Department of Environmental Protection Bureau of Water Supply to treat and supply water to New York City and Westchester County. As part of the management team I was responsible for tracking change orders and assembling changes to contract documents including: Contract drawings, specifications, Engineer's estimate and distributing these documents to the client and the Construction Manager. Additional responsibilities included: tracking and reporting the budget and shop witness testing summaries and preparing the Facility Startup Planning and Operations documents. Regular presentations were given to Senior Management and the Vice President regarding project progress. In addition I worked directly with the Project Manager for the Catskill Water Supply Project: Village of Briarcliff Manor, Westchester County. My responsibilities included: technical review of Mechanical and Process Equipment(i.e. piping, valves, pumps); preparing Contract agreements and budgeting; Hydraulic Analysis; managing of Contract Documents and attending regular project update meetings with Contractors and the Client.
