Daily Duties at Embry Riddle :
Increase University’s business footprint and degree program awareness presence at six (6) military bases throughout Kuwait by traveling to each base, promoting post-secondary degree programs as well as planning and/or facilitating university fairs, briefings, marketing event booths and various other advertising venues, which has increased prospects, admissions and course enrollment each quarter: Results include: …Consistently increasing new and continuing undergraduate student population each academic year, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014; campus growth 90% above campus projection for enrollments in the academic year 2013-14. …Consistently increasing graduate registration over campus projection each academic year, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 • Developing and creating practices to strengthen university brand through marketing efforts to include personalized Academic advising, university education fairs, military unit briefings, flier marketing, marketing booth at installation events. • Received “Outstanding Campus” award for student lifecycle performance, course registration, new students and budget management. Award received from Daytona Beach primary residential campus and headquarters awarded to only 13 of over 150 satellite campuses. • Received “Success Award” for top performance among European region based on campus growth, student retention, student accounts management, marketing management and budget management. • Recognized among peers at over 150 satellite campuses as the one to watch, surpassing quota and expectations quarter over-quarter, tripling enrollment within a 3-month period during the first year in 2011; demonstrating leadership as well as overseeing effective resource allocation to meet and surpass region goals; implementing and maintaining accountability measures and utilizing analyzes techniques and methods. • Developed and facilitated team training for new campus associate and assistant to promote, teach, mentor and coach co- workers in the best practices and procedures for campus field operations and performance, in accordance with University operating procedures. • Registered students, advised students on academic services, degree planned from “cradle to graduation”, maintained accurate student records, performed account reconciliation and follow-up of student accounts receivable. • Develop and delivered phenomenal presentations to engage prospective students, set meetings and appointments to provide presentations to NCIOC, Senior Military and Government Contract personnel to increase University awareness. • Monitored, analyzed and processed campus cost expenditures to safeguarding campus assets in compliance with University procurement, acquisition and budgetary policies. • Analyzed, negotiated, and advertised request for proposal, facilitated market research of local vendors to provide internet services and hardware in support of Embry Riddle virtual classroom project launched for the Kuwait Campus on military installations to innovate classroom venue by providing virtual classes in addition to local face-to-face classes. • Conducted market research to provide factual information for development of effective acquisition strategy for sourcing and purchasing vendor services on military base installations for classroom internet project. • Evaluated and monitored contract work performance to determine and document need for changes for review and approval by change board/project sponsor to ensure compliance with contract obligations • Coordinated meetings with commercial vendor representatives to discuss procurement needs, quality of terms or services, obtain current market prices based on level of service, timeline delivery schedules and work performance breakdown structure for internet services to support the virtual classroom project. • Communicated with personnel, users, and vendors to discuss product/service defectives or unacceptable goods or services to determine and recommend corrective action or preventive action, if applicable • Worked with Education Service Officers, Education Services Specialist, Test Control Officers and other education center staff in a team environment to support the promotion of axillary educational programs at the education centers. • Advised student’s on financial aid, financial obligation, scholarship and educational funding. • Performed qualitative and quantitative analyzed to review information rich reports to target student population, enrollment, registration and graduation to maximize efficient methods for campus performance increase and growth. • Develop, prepare, and present statement of work terms and conditions in bids or request for proposals related to the award of contracts for internet services project and contract.
