Daily Duties at The Ruth M. Rothstein Core Center:
Developed and implemented policy and procedure to establish a new department dedicated to helping patients access public benefits thus contain costs for The CORE Center Pharmacy resulting in a 30 million dollar savings to Cook County Health & Hospital Services. Coordinate services between multi-disciplinary departments to enhance a patient’s ability to function in the community and to better manage their health care. Participate in collaborative activities with other service providers to foster quality care, communication, cooperation and consistent service deliver. Participated in the Bureau of Health Services, ”Revenue Cycle Initiatives” to increase revenue while maintaining the bureau’s mission of quality health care regardless of ability to pay. Supervised the implementation of the LOL policy at the CORE Center as well as tracked outcomes.
