Daily Duties at Aecom Technology Corporation:
• Directed the support services, office management and facilities functions of over 30 offices in the Northeast region. • Office Manager of the Northeast regional corporate headquarters, directing issues supporting office services, renovations, security and logistics. • Managed the consolidation and decommissioning of numerous offices including the relocation of over 400 employees from four Manhattan locations into new office space. • Implemented a reprographics initiative resulting in a projected annual cost savings of 18 percent. • Directed and implemented office safety guidelines. Created a comprehensive Office Emergency Action Plan and manual for handling emergency situations. Participate in regional Business Continuity Planning. • Developed and implemented a corporate wide, compliant records management program. Worked closely with the Law Department, multiple business lines and senior management to create a policy and retention schedule utilizing best practices for AECOM to follow when archiving and disposing of records. • Reduced storage costs by over $130,000 per year through the destruction of documents and elimination of self-storage facilities that had been held beyond the prescribed retention date. • Managed a steering committee of 15 members from across North America, resulting in the compliant disposal of over 50,000 boxes of archived records, leading to cost savings for the entire company. • Conducted training programs to educate managers and staff on the new records policies, procedures and retention schedule.
