This meeting is to discuss any issues faced by the departments and also update the directors on our revenue and expanse status. Since the company is new, I met with the the CFO of the other existing facility, Vista Health Fayetteville, to obtain historical actual budget numbers. With these historical numbers from a facility similar to Vista Health Fort Smith, I met with each directors at regular weekly meetings for over three months and developed an annual operational budget that is profitable and attainable. This annual budget.is over 7 million dollars with a Capital Budget over 3 million dollars which encompassed the entire hospital including Vista Health, Fort Smith Psychiatric/Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinic. Responsible for leading staff members totaling 140 medical and non-medical staff members. I have regular departmental meetings every month where I meet with individual departments and their staff. Once a week I would "shadow" a staff member, I work along side them to get to know their job responsibilities and to get to know them on a personal basis. I meet with the physicians (three psychiatrists) and the the rest of the providers ( two psychologists and five behavioral health therapists) twice a month to build better working relationship. Chairman of the Vista Health Fort Smith Governing Board. The governing board consists of one non-administration member from each department. Staff members can relay to their representatives their concerns, suggestions, and ideas to the board. This encourages open communication and team building environment. We meet once as month. I report to the Owners and the CEO of Vista Health Fayetteville & Vista Health Fort Smith on the financials, market growth, physician recruitment, and daily operations of the hospital.
What they like about Vista Health, Fort Smith:
You give high priority to hiring firms with prestige. Market reputation and prestige of a firm may be determined through on-line research, and conversations with individuals working in your target industry. Note that firms "in the public eye" receive a great deal more critical publicity and attention than those operating with more anonymity. So as you assess your employment opportunities, be sure to seek out the positive aspects of the firm's reputation in addition to noting negative publicity the company may have received.
