Daily Duties at B.F.Saul Company Holiday Inn National Airport:
Manage all Human Resources functions for 90+ team members Handle Recruitment process. Interview , selection and on boarding. Participate in on site job fairs and off site college and employment offices job fairs. Coordinate and conduct trainings, such as new hire orientation, Americans with Disability Act training, management development, Guest Service and policies and procedures for English and Spanish speaking associates of 2 BF Saul Hotels in the Arlington area. Manage team member enrollment to Benefits Program. Handle workers compensation ,FMLA cases and unemployment claims. Participate in unemployment hearings. Perform employment terminations Provide coaching, information, advice and direction to managers, including best practices, common methodologies, available tools, resources, etc. regarding human resources. Execute processes, tools and communication for team members (guidance on FMLA, leaves, minor disputes, policies, etc.) Respond to managers and employees, providing quick resolution on claims, conducting investigations, diagnosing problems and coaching managers on preparing and reviewing corrective action documentation. Process all new hire and terminations through the HRIS- Ultipro system Work closely with accounting team to administer payroll through Kronos workforce. Responsible of managing Human Resources Department budget. Chairperson of the Safety Committee. to ensure that sound and consistent personnel practices are applied for all employees through compliance with all company human resource policies, and state, local and Federal legislation.
