• Provided leadership and coordination of daily accounting processes for a collegiate sports marketing entity with annual revenue of $15 million. These processes included A/R, A/P, billing, GL accounting and journal entries. • Performed month end close process and financial reporting including Balance Sheet, P&L, and general ledger and account reconciliations. • Recruited, trained and evaluated staff of 2 employees. • Responsible for the preparation of the annual audit package and worked with external auditors to validate accounting and procedures conformed to GAAP. Responsible for the preparation of the annual tax package and worked with external tax preparers to review and approve tax returns. • Performed cash forecasting, prepared cash flows and oversaw Treasury management. • Prepared business forecasting models including variance analysis and reporting. • Prepared the annual budgets and monitored and analyzed the monthly operating results against forecast and budget.
