CHUKWU PAGE 3 • Interviewed and/or corresponded with witnesses and claimants, consulted with medical professionals and attorneys, and requested and reviewed supporting documentation to establish the company's liability, determine appropriate coverage, and facilitate settlements. • Demonstrated skill in early recognition and exposure with respect to BI (Bodily Injury), as well as monitoring PIP (Personal Injury Protection) treatments to safeguard against fraudulent claims. • Developed and implemented action plans to improve results. Created and executed processes and procedures to assist in achieving auto liability and subrogation objectives. • Initiated same-day contact for new claims, so as to mitigate severity of lawsuits for the company and disburse settlements in a timely manner. Provided information concerning the status of claims, identify injuries, and evaluate procedures pertinent to the management of claims, consistent with State regulations. • Managed an active diary to ensure timeliness of claims. Controlled costs/minimize losses to the company by monitoring an active diary of rentals for automotive vehicles. • Handled subrogation referrals for personal injury and automobile claims. Consistently exceeded subrogation recovery time. • Prepared, analyzed, and presented numerous arbitration packages in a concise manner, resulting in favorable decisions. • Produced detailed trends and analysis reports for management's review. • Served as a resource during internal conferences; share information concerning claims analysis and settlement procedures. Additionally, functioned as an arbitration forum panelist on a monthly basis. • Provided other team members with support and guidance, toward accomplishment of departmental and company goals
