Daily Duties at Tuscarora Gas Company:
Operate & maintain 305 mile long, 230 million cubic feet per day, high pressure natural gas pipeline, associated gas compressor equipment, Satellite Communication & Data Acquistion (SCADA), and control systems. Provide annual public awareness presentation to general population and gas safety training to construction contractors who work in close proximity to high pressure gas pipeline Work independently routinely inspecting pipeline valves, pressure gauges, flow transmitters, and telemetry components Maintain, repair, or replace SCADA system equipment including Remote Terminal Units (RTU), batteries, LAN, and Human Machine Interface (HMI) Oversee excavation contractors when working in close proximity to gas pipeline Perform gas pipeline visual inspection both aerially and on the ground
