Daily Duties at American System Corporation:
*Customer Service Representative on DISCO team of 30 members *Interacted with various DSS(Defense Security Service)Field Offices to include the PIC(Personnel Investigations Center) to ensure that investigations were completed. *Requested expeditious completion of the investigative process where critical needs exist. *Responsible for reviewing the security clearance forms,such as 1879 or SF86 in order to inform the customer of the corrective action required by DISCO. *Advised the customer as to the proper request and forms that should be submitted for initial clearance as well as the type of clearance being requested. *Review requests for adjudication (RFAs) that have been routed to the Defense Office of Hearing and Appeals(DOHA) or the another adjudicative agency. *Analyzed cases from incoming calls to ensure that the applications was correct and all policies and guidelines were followed. *Accessed the DCII,CCMS,JPAS(Joint Personnel Adjudication System), SII(Special Investigation,ISS(Industrial Security System),CVA(Central Verification Authority, databases in order to provide appropriate clearance information to the military and civilian personnel.
