same as the company description--****711,470 personnel total size on DSCC base***8,000 civilians *Responsible for directing complex pre-awrd functions to include planning,negotiations and administering highly specialized procurement. *Warranted contracting officer with a warrant valued at $150K *Provided business advice and guiduance to contracting and non-contracting personnel to understand the acquisition process and procedures *Evaluated and conducted fair and reasonable analogies of vendors' quote for solicitations utilizing Excell spreadsheet and various Government software packages such as DPACS,FEDBIZOPPS, DIBBS,E-procurement. *Performed detailed analyses of all elements of cost in contractir proposals and made competitive range determinations in accordance with the FAR(Federal Acquisition Regulations). *Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex unusual procedurals problems and issues to provide the best. *Possess strong leadership,interpersonal,project management, and oral/written communications skills *Developed negotitations strategies and met with technical and legal representatives as deemed appropriate *Analyzed related audit and field support documentation *Verified funding criteria; determined finanical and performance capability; and negotiated contract awards so that supplies for DLA Land and Maritime *Issued necessary amendments to clarify questions concerning topics such as specification changes, language amiguities or clarification of contract clauses.
