• Liaison among parents, community and school staff, facilitating communication and providing information about the mission, goals, programs and resources of Fairfax County Public Schools • Developed and coordinated programs that involved parents and the community in students education and school programs • Plan, organize, schedule and participated in developing a variety of school/community outreach and involvement activities • Plan, organize and schedule one on one consultation, meetings, presentations, workshops and conferences, for parents, staff members and the community • Participate in community and civic activities to maintain credibility in the community. • Serve as a home/ school contact for teachers, parents and administrators to ensure information is communicated in a timely fashion • Research and develop strategies that promote staff members outreach to parents
