Daily Duties at Hydrogen Research Laboratory:

Investigated the production of biological hydrogen using microbial fermentation. Performed lab scale experiments and critically analyzed the parameters affecting the hydrogen production process. Applied design of experiment methods and computational fluid dynamics analysis to optimize factors such as the feed concentration, temperature, light intensity and mixing. Designed, constructed and operated bench scale and pilot scale reactors. Laboratory manager – organized laboratory meetings and prepared protocols for equipment use and analyses methods. Oversaw operational and safety aspects of the laboratory. Maintained inventories of equipment, chemicals and expenses, and delegated cleaning duties in the laboratory.
