Captained all initiatives, activities, and management operations for Circulation and Sales Department, including heading team of 50. Capitalized on market trends by examining consumer habits, researching competitors, and identifying growth Opportunities. Mapped and implemented sales strategies, deploying internet, direct mail, print, and telemarketing tools to drive circulation. Propelled public awareness by representing company at trade shows and holding meetings with target audiences including educators and health care providers. Handled distribution, identifying and teaming with vendors for the same. Orchestrated activities among sales, advertising, research, production and editorial to secure subscribers. Established and cultivated relationships with local, state, and national community organizations, and leveraged relations to expand market reach. Created department budget, and managed profit & loss (P&L). Maintained key documentation including status and expense reports.
