Established and expanded a niche automotive restoration and custom shop, specializing in high-end, ground-up builds with a focus on quality and brand management. Responsible for all day-to-day operations including, but not limited to: client and vendor relationships; human resources; contracts; accounting; marketing, web development, and social media. • Oversaw all aspects of expansion from a two-person operation, occupying a 2000 square foot facility to an eight-person operation occupying an 8000 square foot facility over four years. • Increased gross revenue over 900% in the same four year span. • Created and maintained company website, which consistently ranks in the top Google search results without purchased SEO. • Created and maintained a company Facebook page • Established the shop as a premier destination, drawing customers nationally, based entirely on quality and craftsmanship—and not price—during an economic recession. • Planned and implemented a rigorous marketing/show schedule resulting in over twenty awards from various shows nationwide, including some of the top honors in the industry (Goodguys Builder’s Choice, PPG Outstanding Use of Color). • Successfully pitched stories to, and created content for, national niche automotive publications. • Secured two spots (2008, 2011) on a nationally televised, cable automotive show highlighting our builds • Collaborated with vendors to showcase our product and brand at SEMA—the largest industry trade show—two years in a row. • Created a press kit centered on six vehicles shown in May 2012 at the Nashville Goodguys show which resulted in a newspaper article featured on the front page of The Tennessean Business section and in syndication in the Saturday USA Today. • Lobbied the Tennessee General Assembly regarding changes in the enforcement of vehicle registration code that negatively impact the custom/restoration industry and consumers. • Explored partnerships with other industry leaders to establish and expand the Team Witt brand, including hosting training seminars and an annual car show.
