Daily Duties at Susan R. Limor, Pc:
General office and clerical support for two attorneys. • Drafting and filing motions, orders, notices, and other legal documents through the CM/ECF PACER system; scheduling and completing required follow-up. • Drafting settlement agreements and legal correspondence. Case management using TCMS. Client intake including: collecting initial client information; scheduling consultation appointments; assisting with collecting required paperwork and documentation for filing bankruptcy; reviewing documents for completion and accuracy as required by federal bankruptcy law and local bankruptcy rules; receiving payments for legal and court filing fees and issuing receipts. • Reviewing and inputting client-provided information into BestCase legal software; preparing client bankruptcy petitions for review by attorneys. • Prepare for, support, and assist Trustee at 341 Meeting of Creditors by reviewing debtors’ bankruptcy petitions and associated documents, such as tax returns and payment advices, for completion and accuracy as required by federal bankruptcy law and local bankruptcy rules. Work collaboratively with the Office of the United States Trustee to complete case reviews. • Review and respond to requests for information from other attorneys, debtors, and creditors. • Creating and maintaining two practice websites and Facebook pages.
