Daily Duties at First American Home Buyers Protection:

Recruited to increase operational efficiency and provide stability and overall company direction. Developed the overall Strategic plan for the company. Developed the technology and support plans to support the strategic plan. Directed and managed all aspects of a $124M Claims budget including call center personnel, Authorizations, Purchasing, Procurement and Contractor Relations. Forecasted and managed the claims budget with a break down by number of invoices received, average cost per invoice, and claims month over month. Further break down by equipment and labor costs down to a trade level. Lead and directed a network of over 3500 contractors nation-wide to provide quality service while controlling costs. Responsible for the procurement and onboarding of all new contractors into the network including background checks, proper insurance requirements, and price negotiations. Daily analysis of all claims. Analysis at company, state, service contract (product), contractor, labor and equipment levels. Final decision maker for all escalated claims. Responsible for communicating all claims related analysis at the monthly Executive Management Council meetings. Lead an interdepartmental Product Task Force responsible for product planning and interpretation of all service contracts. Developed and chaired the Operations Summit, an interdepartmental operations focused committee designed to foster internal communication and consistency of policy application across the company. Negotiated all supplier/equipment contracts for the company (38 vendors).
