Daily Duties at Bayer Healthcare Interventional :
Responsible for all capital equipment, device and consumable sales relative Bayer’s Interventional Division competing in mechanical thrombectomy, manual aspiration, peripheral vessel occlusion and angiographic power injector business platform. Accountable for achieving territory sales goals and objectives (2.2M 2009, 2.5M 2010, 2.3M 2011). Prospect and build alliance with potential and or existing healthcare providers in the fields of interventional cardiology and radiology, vascular surgery, OR and hospital purchasing and administration; prepare comprehensive territory business plans that reflect overall division strategy; conduct product demonstration and in-service training leading to procedure conversion; update Divisional and National Senior Management on regional business landscape. Assisted in the hiring and training of new Clinical Support Representatives. Responsible for all capital equipment, device and consumable sales within Medrad’s angiographic power injector business platform. Provide leadership and direction to Clinical Support and Service Engineer teams relative to my capital equipment sales obligations. Primarily accountable for the achievement of regional sales goals and objectives (2.1M 2012, 2.8M 2013). Other duties include preparing comprehensive regional business plans; launching new equipment; product and technology; performing in-service training on capital equipment with healthcare professionals; prospect and develop relationships that lead to conversion and/or growth of base volumes; supporting interventional cases on capital equipment used in the fields of interventional cardiology and radiology, vascular surgery and OR; leverage common interest with hospital purchasing, administrative staff and OEM network to maximize sales opportunities.
