Daily Duties at Ciena Communications:
-Coordinate with contractors and various departments in Ciena to provide information and schedule Site Surveys for initial installation of services. -Analyzed Scope of Work to create a RFQ contractors to bid on projects -Analyzed quotes from partners quotes against budget and created PO's -Organized and provided and Project Managers and Network Engineering with documentation for network creation. -Managed project deliverables from beginning to end. -Created and checked Material List need for the installation of new equipment. -Served as focal point for any issues with the project along the way to be resolved. -Created and provided Engineering checks on Engineering Documentation (EDP's) -Provided final engineering checks before documentation went to the customer. -Worked with fiber optic equipment and circuits .1G-100G. -Installed, commissioned, and provisioned fiber optic equipment.
