Performed due diligence reviews on land acquisition opportunities to assure that they met the company’s financial and risk objectives. Prepared detailed pro forma models with “what if” scenario analysis and presented results to the corporate acquisitions committee. Developed and implemented entitlement plans for acquired properties. Presented development plans to land sellers, planning commissions, city councils, county boards, etc to obtain necessary approvals. Managed the land development function for the division including budgeting and contracting. Coordinated with home construction personnel to assure they received timely permitting to begin construction on schedule.
