Daily Duties at The Gordian Group, Inc.:
Gained an advanced understanding of the core business while building the IT department for future growth. This overall responsibility included all of the following: - Garnering relevant data to report and document project progress. - Managing all departmental resources and hardware/software functions including identifying customer need, creating IT solutions, developing applications, configuration, deployment and overall support. - Utilizing a customer-centered philosophy to build long term relationships and high value accounts. - Streamlining workflow and communication within the department as well as with other departments and corporate leadership. - Producing clear, concise and user-friendly strategic road maps for short/long term planning and budgeting. - Keeping current with market to integrate continuous improvements to technology. - Tactically planning, integrating and testing upgrades/enhancements to organization's infrastructure. - Ensuring compliance to industry standards. - Championing expert Disaster Recovery planning/coordination as well as Business Continuity initiatives.
