Daily Duties at The Gordian Group, Inc.:
Determined and maintained overall enterprise information technology strategy for optimal market growth. This major responsibility was achieved by: - Attending all senior management meetings to update executives on overall IT status and supporting all inter-departmental initiatives where IT was necessary. - Using HR skills to recruit, hire and mentor 17 personnel including Developers, Software Architects, QA/QC, Database Administrators, Business Intelligence/Reporting, Product Support and Testing. - Evaluating staff to troubleshoot and identify areas of under-performance and proactively resolving challenges. - Continuing to support back-office application maintenance - Providing staff support to resolve issues and introduce team building experiences - Managing all departmental resources and hardware/software functions including identifying customer need, creating IT solutions, developing applications, configuration, deployment and overall support. - Streamlining workflow and communication within the department as well as with other departments and corporate leadership. - Keeping current with market to integrate continuous improvements to technology.
